Job Position: Kitchen Manager

Spring 2023 will see the launch of Barrel Brothers Brewing Company kitchen and patio that will feature a Sonoma County original 39 tap self-pour tap wall.

Organizational Function: Back of House Management Full Time 40 hrs/week Hourly Pay: $25-$28 + Tip Pool allocation.

Responsibilities:

● Managing inventory so that all necessary ingredients are stocked for service

● Providing training for new staff members to facilitate quick acclimation

● Streamlining the kitchen processes to maintain prompt service times

● Working with the Executive Chef to develop and maintain the restaurant’s international street food menu

● Setting regular cleaning standards for the kitchen and verifying that staff is maintaining sanitation levels

● Creating schedules for all kitchen staff

● Tracking kitchen finances to identify areas of potential waste

● Ability to be hands-on with line cooks offering assistance, or filling in to staff the line.

● Assist with on-site day-to-day operations

● Works with other managers to create ideal customer experience Skills and Qualifications

● 2 Years of BOH restaurant experience required, 1 Year of kitchen management experience required.

● Physical stamina to withstand a full shift potentially on their feet

This position reports to the executive chef and acting General Manager and has responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the Kitchen as well as other strategic objectives of the restaurant management team. This person will oversee up to 10 full-time/part-time direct reports.
